Ariessence PDGF+

Ariessence PDGF+ (recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor)

A platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) therapy used for skin texture, tone, and the early signs of photoaging. Delivered via microinjection or paired with microneedling channels. Not the same as patient-derived PRP — Ariessence uses a standardized recombinant growth factor concentration per session.

What it is

Ariessence PDGF+ is a growth-factor therapy built around recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor. PDGF is one of the body’s own signaling molecules for tissue repair and collagen synthesis. Delivered to the skin via microinjection or through microneedling channels, it supports the same regenerative cascade that platelet-rich plasma triggers — but with a standardized, repeatable concentration per session rather than the patient-to-patient variability of autologous PRP.

How we approach it

We use Ariessence most often paired with microneedling, in a series of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. The clinician selects depth and concentration per skin type.

For patients who prefer an autologous (own-body) approach, traditional PRP remains the alternative. For patients who want a standardized growth-factor concentration without the blood draw, Ariessence is the call.

What to expect

A comfortable session with mild post-treatment pinkness for one to two days. Visible texture and tone change at four to eight weeks. Cumulative across the series.

Candidacy

Best for patients seeking skin quality improvement with a standardized regenerative protocol. Not for active infection in the treatment area, pregnancy, or active cancer without oncology clearance.

Indicated for

  • Patients seeking texture and tone improvement with a standardized formulation
  • Pairs well with microneedling protocols
  • Adjunct to a comprehensive skincare plan

Not a candidate if

  • Active infection or skin condition in the treatment area
  • Pregnant or nursing patients
  • Patients with active cancer or recent chemotherapy without oncology clearance

Before your visit

  • Best as a series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart
  • Sun protection across the series
