What it is

Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC is a denser hyaluronic-acid filler designed for deeper folds and more substantive lip volume. Higher lift than Ultra, softer than Voluma.

How we approach it

Ultra Plus is the right call when a patient has tried Ultra and wants more, or for established patients with deeper nasolabial folds. Placement depth and technique matter more with a denser product. We use this for patients with a filler history, not first visits.

What to expect

Volume immediate; swelling 1–3 days; final at two weeks. Up to one year per syringe.

Candidacy

Best for established filler patients with deep folds or specific lip-volume goals. Not appropriate as a first-time product.

Indicated for

  • Deep nasolabial folds beyond Vollure's range
  • Pronounced lip volume restoration in established patients
  • Patients with prior filler who want more lift per syringe

Not a candidate if

  • First-time filler patients — start with a softer product
  • Pregnant or nursing patients

  • Density requires precise placement; depth matters more
  • Lip swelling can be substantial for 1–3 days
